Novara, 6 July 2010 - In October 2009, management control of Mikado Film, an Italian film production and distribution company, passed to Franco Tatò, who had taken over the role of Chairman and CEO of the company.

The agreement signed with Mr Tatò stipulated that:
-       Franco Tatò would manage the company, becoming its Chairman and CEO
-       Franco Tatò had the option to acquire control of Mikado Film in the following months

As negotiations to complete the deal were unsuccessful, the company now returns to the management and co-ordination of the De Agostini Group.

As a result, Franco Tatò and the members of the Board of Directors appointed by him have handed in their resignations from the Board and will be replaced by directors appointed by De Agostini Communications.
